I primi responsi da chi ha acquistato il cofanetto Blu-ray Stanley Kubrick Limited Edition collection segnalano un nuovo problema: la confezione cartonata, in cui ogni disco è inserito dentro una pagina di un libretto, rovina i dischi.La fessura della pagina di cartoncino è così stretta che per tirare fuori i dischi anche solo una volta si creano graffi sul disco e crepe sulla pagina. Senza contare le ditate per riuscire ad agguantare i dischi da quel minuscolo bordo esposto.
Sempre meglio. Ma una petizione per togliere la patria potestà alla Warner e dare in affidamento i film alla Criterion, no?

I bought the Clockwork Orange Anniversary Edition blu-ray, which also has a small book. Most pages are just filler, but there are two pages with new photos. Did you buy this?

I saw the booklet in some unpacking videos on youtube, and it seems there are nice photos, and probably some of them are new but I couldn't really spot them.

I wonder if the digibook of Clockwork Orange is different from the pages about ACO in the collection booklet...?
I think I am going to buy the entire collection, I don't have any Blu-ray yet, so the box is probably a good chance to have them all.

Thanks for the link, I assumed they had done a digibook for the UK edition as well. At least European customers have their discs intact ;-)

Aspettavo a pubblicarla perché non la riporta nessun altro e non c'è tra i comunicati ufficiali Warner. Dubito sia vera perché è un autogol commerciale: è stupido annunciare una nuova versione migliore quando se ne è appena messa in commercio una. Vedremo.
Ma che fesseria fare quelle odiose custodie di cartone. Fortuna che non ho comprato questa edizione.
